The Propel System for Accelerated Orthodontics & Invisalign
“I really want to straighten my teeth, but… How Long Will It Take?”
One of the top questions we get at Hildebrand Dental from patients is exactly how long treatment will take. Over the past few decades, there have been some major advancements in orthodontic technology that we are excited to share with you!
Propel is the newest, most innovative enhancement to orthodontics and Invisalign. Propel aims to reduce the treatment time that goes along with orthodontics by studying the biology of tooth movement. Propel can reduce treatment time up to 62% – a significant time savings to clients! Another advantage of shortened treatment time is that with fewer treatments, there is less risk of side effects such as white spots and decalcification.
What is Propel?
Propel uses a patented system to stimulate the bones in your mouth, which leads to fast bone remodeling (a natural process of the body). This is vital to achieve straight, beautiful smiles, as it allows teeth to move faster and more predictably into their ideal position. The Propel System can be used with many of the most popular orthodontic systems, including metal braces and Invisalign, in order to move teeth much faster than through traditional treatments. Even if you have already begun treatment, adding Propel will dramatically shorten the expected treatment time.
Does Propel hurt?
In most studies, little to no pain has been experienced by patients. The goal of Propel is to naturally move teeth as quickly, and painlessly, as possible. Take one of Hildebrand Dental’s patient testimonials, for example:
Day 1 (a few hours after treatment):
“Matt was amazing! I didn’t feel a thing. I have not been sore at all.”
Day 2 (next day after treatment):
“I have zero soreness. My mouth doesn’t feel any different today than any other day.”
Is Propel more expensive than traditional treatment?
The total cost of your orthodontic treatment will vary, based on your own unique needs, desires and the condition of your teeth and smile. Compared to many other devices and systems, the cost of finishing treatment sooner is substantial. Another fact to consider is less office visits are needed, so less time spent driving to and from dental appointments! Time is money!
At Hildebrand Dental, we are very excited to be able to offer the Propel System and enable you to get the smile of your dreams as quickly as possible.
